NOTICE FOR DEVELOPING NEW MEMBERS

The Related Organizations & Enterprises,

China Federation of Logistic and Purchasing (CFLP) is a comprehensive and great social organization with legal representative title and the only one accredited by State Council and governed directly and indirectly by National Economy and Trade Administration, whose mainly functions and responsibilities are to provide service for logistic and purchasing industries. Because of having entered into WTO, to fit new economic competition, to speed up narrowing the gap between national and international logistic industry, for the aim of liaison, communication, coordination and service and to better help the development of the domestic logistic and purchasing industries, according to the CFLP’s constitution, we are going to develop new members throughout the country to promoting the whole logistics industry’s development.

Specifications are as follows:

一、 Limits for New Members

All kinds of economic enterprises (including solely invested enterprises and joint ventures), institutions, social groups and individuals can apply for membership of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing provided who recognize the CFLP “Constitution”, fulfill membership rights and duties, pay membership fee in time and are registered by law in Industrial & Commercial Administrations in the People’s Republic of China.

二、 Materials to be provided for new members

1、Apply for on voluntary basis and fill in “Form of Membership, CFLP” in 2 copies; The form must be signed by an authorized person with the seal of the company or institution.

2、One copied business license and registration certificate of your institution (for individual, please submit your own resume and research achievements such as academic writings and assays) and one copy of brief introduction to your company or institution.

三、 Procedure for Verification

1、The procedures for verification of an institutional applicant are be dong by the Department of Membership, CFLP

2、After receiving the registration form & required materials from applicants, the Department of Membership will make an assessment in no time and report in batches to the Secretary General of CFLP for examination. Applicants will become formal members only identified in the official meeting and agreed by the executive council members by any means of communication.

3、When the application approved, the Department of Membership will inform the applicant of the approval and send “Notice of Payment for Membership” at the same time, and the new members will pay annual membership fee RMB 3,000 Yuan and RMB 1,000 Yuan in one lump sum for registration (including the cost of certificate and plate) to the designated bank account of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing. (Those who want to apply for council membership or executive council membership should make another application and submit relevant materials required to the Department of Membership.)

4、After the money arrived at the account, the Department of Membership will post formal invoice within 7 days and “Membership Certificate” and the specially made membership plate soon;

5、Those who have remitted the annual membership fee to the designated bank account can enjoy all kinds of rights and services provided by CFLP;

SERVICES FOR THE MEMBERSHIPS

All members can get the federation bulletin “China Logistics and Purchasing”.(China national first class economic semimonthly magazine) and “Membership Newsletter”, “Documents of CFLP” and other internal reference materials, which are free of charge, in addition to the following 10 services:

1. To forward justice desires and reasonable requirements of membership to the concerned authority of the government, ensure members’ legal rights;

2. To make proposals to the concerned authority of the government about development plans, policy, standard making and economic legislation in this industry and organize some members to participate in meetings and other activities about policy and economic legislation decisions;

3. To participate in organization and implementation of professional investigation, market analysis, exploit national & international market information resources, establish information collection and feedback system so as to provide members with general market information and market development in the same industry in foreign countries timely and information consulting services, inform members information about economic theory of circulation and modern logistics, e-commerce, government purchasing, introduce new achievements and hold meetings on development of various industries, academic seminars and extension of experience.

4. To actively promote enterprises’ reform and development and applications of various new types of marketing such as e-commerce, logistics distribution, government purchasing, chain business management, and agency system among members, improve scientific contents of industrial management and operation, assist members in constructing central competitive capacity;

5. To help government to strengthen professional legal system, establish just, fair and open market economic order, accept authorization to coordinate the economic and legal relationship among different industries, and provide members with legal consulting service;

6. To accept members’ authorization and assist members in building up public relations with government, national economic research institutions and other relevant units;

7. To organize seminars about the national and regional logistics industry development and various meetings about experience exchanges and business negotiations regularly and irregularly for exchanging experience on business operation, management, reform and development, recommend member units to take part in selection activities of advanced models at trust of or agreed by concerned authority of government.

8. To accept members’ authorization to organize logistics and technical equipment specialists to make on-spot investigations, deal with program planning, help enterprises make plans of sustainable development strategies;

9. To recommend members to participate in professional technique test and certification of standard quality control system, and deal with the enterprises’ certification of ISO9000;

10.To organize members to communicate with foreign economic organizations by means of visits, personnel training, commercial negotiations etc so as to promote cooperation and communication with foreign counterparts on academic research, science& technology, circulation management and trading;
