As the bridge and link between enterprise and government, CFLP is playing active role in suggestion and advices, such as: Motion to Speed up the Development of China's Modern Logistics Industry delivered by Chairman Lu Jiang, etc. won the Excellence Introduction Prize on the Ninth CPPCC in March 2002; Entrusted by Ministry of Finance and former State Economic and Trade Commission (SETC), CFLP finished Tax Countermeasure Study on Chinese Logistics Industry as China's Entry into WTO in 2002; CFLP obtained the first place of sending information among 15 associations under the former SETC in 2002; CFLP participated in the Logistics Investigation organized by CPPCC in 2003.
Industry Standard
CFLP launched to draft the national standard - Logistics Terms issued by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) in April 2001. CFLP also has worked out a lot of national standards and industry standards logistics and circulation Standardization. Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC) agreed the establishment of National Logistics Standardization Technology Committee and the Secretariat setting in CFLP in June 2003.

For supporting the marketing of members and enterprises, CFLP has hosted or joined various exhibitions, conferences and fairs within the great social influence.
Planning & Consultation
For logistics planning and consulting service, the Beijing CFLP Logistics Academy has accomplished the Handan Logistics Program in Hebei Province, the Zhengzhou Logistic Program in Henan Province and the Jiangyin Port Logistics Program in Jiangsu Province and so on. CFLP and the members of CFLP have participate in many logistics program consulting and making for the industrial and commercial enterprises in a lot of provinces and cities and formed the main strength of national logistics planning and consulting services.
Base Construction
CFLP has made the method of choosing the China Logistics Demonstration Base (CLDB) and the China Logistics Experiment Base (CLEB). CFLP has named two companies as CLDB and four enterprises as CLEB. CFLP has launched the collection, competition and introduction activity of the Logistics Informatization Excellent Case and formed the system on it.
Purchasing Service
As the council member of IFPMM, CFLP is positively organizing the 2005 Word Congress of IFPMM in Beijing. International Purchasing Forum in China was held by CFLP in Shanghai in 2002 as well as in Beijing in 2003. CFLP has edited and published Modern Purchasing Technologies Series and China Electromechanical Products Catalogue, etc. CFLP helps the local government to establish the Purchasing Center and assist the Ministry of Finance to promote the government procurement.
Pallet & Equipment
CFLP sets up the PC of Pallet for promoting the tray production and application and enforcing the research and administration. PC of Pallet has been constantly developed the publishing books and magazines, the investigations and researches, the technical trainings and the international exchanges and cooperation. The Survey of Chinese Bracket Tray Utilization finished by PC of Pallet received the extensive concern of the industry.

Distribution business is the key service field of CFLP, such as: holding the situation analysis of the means of production in national market; putting forward the authoritative information to the society and the market prediction; organizing the regional Materials Enterprise Forum to exchange experiences and solve problems; hosting the President Council of National Key Wholesale Market and pointing the wholesale markets as the Key Contact Market to advance the circulation modernization.
Education & Training
CFLP launched the education and training project of logistics & purchase talents. CFLP hosts the annual High Education Seminar on Logistics Teaching, and promotes the logistics professional trainings of doctor, master, bachelor and special secondary school personnel. CFLP also organizes the training certification for the Logistics Professional Manager Certificate (beginning, middle and advanced) with dozens train-sites and organizations, provides the first class experts for the enterprise internal training, and works out the National Logistician Profession Standard under the guidance of Ministry of Labor and Social Security with the training and examining of assistant logistician, logistician and senior logistician. CFLP promotes the PSCM Program in China cooperated with the International Trade Center of WTO, the employees' qualification training certification with famous foreign associations, the overseas training on logistic & supply chain, etc. with famous foreign universities and consulting companies.
Science & Information
Entrusted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, CFLP sets up the CFLP Award of Science and Technology and responds the recommendation of State Advance Award of Science and Technology (SAAST). CFLP launches the collection, competition and introduction activity of the Logistics Informatization Excellent Case and formed the system on it. CFLP launched Special Fund for the Development of China Logistics (SFDCL) relying on the GFST to accelerate the development of logistics scientific technology, research, education and training undertaking. CFLP is in charge of industry statistics on the means of production and starting the information system of basic statistics on logistics & purchasing.
Theory Research
CFLP and China Logistics Society (CLS) unite experts to promote the research of logistics theories deeply with main publications such as: China Logistics Year Book 2002, China Logistics Development Report 2001(Red Paper), China Logistics Development Report 2002(Red Paper), China Logistics, Papers of the 1st CLS Annual Conference, China Distribution Center, China Logistics Center, Logistics Statistics System and Information System, Logistics Cost, Foreign Logistics Development Trend, City Rubbish Logistics, Logistics Enterprise Classification, etc. China Logistics Academy Conference has become the supreme academic annual meeting in national logistics circle.

Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao
CFLP has devoted to promoting exchanges and cooperation amongst China's mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Cooperated with Hong Kong Productivity Council, Hong Kong Development Council, Hong Kong Logistics Association, Taiwan Logistics Association and Macao Air Freight Forwarding (Logistics) Association closely, CFLP hosts the Conference of Logistics Cooperation and Development amongst China's Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regularly.
