CFLP, the Chinese Federation of Logistics and Purchasing has made accommodation and meeting facilities arrangements with the Guishan Hotel in the very center of Guilin. Guishan Hotel locates in No. 42, Chuanshan Road, Guilin, Guangxi Province. It is 30 km from Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (KWL). The airport shuttle bus runs between the airport and the Aviation Building located at city center at a cost of CNY 25. It costs about CNY 100 for taxi.
Getting Around
Guilin is a compact city so using a bicycle is an option. Do in Rome as Rome does, as the saying goes, to ride a bicycle will let you experience how ordinary Chinese live as China is dubbed "Kingdom of bicycles". Bicycles can be rented at most hotels and traffic trunks. The charge is either by the hour or the day depending how long you wish to have the bicycle.
Taxis cost ¥7 for 2km, then ¥1.60 per kilometer. After 4km, the price jumps to ¥2 per kilometer. From 11pm to 7am, the fare is ¥7.80 for 2km, then ¥2.40 per kilometer until 4km, and ¥3 per kilometer after that.
