The Grand Alliance group of shipping lines will add a call at Vietnam's Cai Mep to its Asia East Coast Express service from 9 January.
The Alliance members ?C Hapag-Lloyd, NYK and OOCL ?C said they would also deploy ten 5,500teu vessels on the service, rather than the current nine.
The service's rotation will become: Cai Mep, Laem Chabang, Singapore, Colombo, Cagliari, Halifax, New York, Savannah, Norfolk, New York, Halifax, Cagliari, Jeddah, Colombo, Singapore and Cai Mep.
